Fishes die from living in tap water or boiled tap water, do you want
to drink?
Tap water is contaminated and is not drinkable. See the filter for yourself:

PP Cotton Cartridge after being Used for 3 Months

To the left, is a new PP cotton cartridge. To the right, is the same
PP cotton cartridge taken out from vitalphwater Ionized Microcluster Alkaline Water
Filtration System after just 3 month usage in Vancouver, BC, Canada. See the rust,
dirt, cloudiness and other contaminations we caught. Would you want your
family members to drink tap water like this?
Without vitalphwater Ionized Microcluster Alkaline Water Filtration System, you are actually
in-taking the rust and dirt from tap water! Accumulation of these in
your body can cause many chronic diseases. It is also a common knowledge
that fishes die from living in unfiltered tap water or boiled water
within a few days because of chlorine and other contaminants. Therefore,
either filtered tap water or natural lake water without chlorine
addictives can be used in aquarium.
Besides the PP
cotton cartridge, we also use
active carbon cartridge,
KDF cartridge,
untrafiltration
cartridge and
Ionized Microcluster Alkaline Water cartridge (patent pending) to remove chlorine, lead,
volatile organic chemicals, total trihalomethanes,
chloramines, parasites, cysts, algaes and other contaminations that can
not be seen by your bare eyes.
A pH of 7 is neutral. Both tap water and boiled tap water contains large clusters and
is acidic (tap water in both Vancouver, BC and Seattle, WA has a pH of 6.5). Water as it comes out of the tap is undrinkable. It has a foul taste and deleterious effects on the body because it contains Chlorine.
Boiling water can kill bacteria but it cannot remove chlorine, lead,
rust and other turbidities. Several researches with funding from Health Canada, including one conducted in 1998 in Ontario, have linked Chlorine and its by-products (e.g. trihalomethanes) to increased risk of rectal cancer, colon cancer, and bladder cancer. In addition to primary disinfection stations, there are secondary disinfection stations throughout the distribution system in order to keep residual chlorine levels high enough to prevent bacterial re-growth.
Water pollution has recently become more serious in cities. The turbidity of the drinking water supplied to homes through the water distribution system
often reaches levels unprecedented. For instance, on November 16, 2006, Vancouver Health Authority advised that tap water in GVRD
is NOT acceptable for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables or brushing teeth.
